I'm not a priest (obviously), but I am a cantor, and in some Masses I am still moved to tears by the beauty of it all.

Thank you for sharing this lovely essay and unpacking the poem of beauty in a hawks’ flight. God’s light in the peaks of sheer obvious beauty and troughs of life where we see his light in the minutiae in the valleys, even the turning of earth with plow! I am quite overcome, it was much needed in the valley time i walk right now. Beautifully written.
